Customized Software

ADAMA Engineering develops specialty software. This software is designed and developed entirely in-house. It reflects theoretical knowledge of geotechnical engineering as well as understanding of the state-of-practice. In addition to the generic commercial software detailed in this website, the following are some computer programs developed or customized by ADAMA Engineering:

FoSSA (1.0)©: Program licensed to the Federal Highway Administration in 2003. Windows software for analysis of stress and settlement under embankments.

ReSSA (1.0)©: Program licensed to the Federal Highway Administration in 2001. Windows software for analysis and design of reinforced soil slopes. Generally, it follows Demonstration Project No. 82 and AASHTO 98 interim guidelines.

MSEW (1.0)©: Program licensed to the Federal Highway Administration in 1998. Windows software for analysis and design of mechanically stabilized earth walls. It follows Demonstration Project No. 82 and AASHTO 98 interim guidelines.

StrataSlope(2.0)©: Program customized in 2004 for Strata Systems, Cumming, Georgia, USA.

E’Grid Walls and Slopes (1.0)©: Program customized in 2003 for Qingdao ETSONG Geogrids, Shangdong, China.

ReSlope (1.2)©: An enhanced DOS version of ReSlope (1.0). Developed in 1996 and has been used in five continents.

GeoCoPS (1.0): Program developed in 1995 for the US Army Corps of Engineers. This DOS software is suitable for designing Geosynthetic Confined Pressurized Slurry (i.e., geotextile tubes).

ReSlope (1.0): Program developed in 1995 for the US Army Corps of Engineers. This DOS software is suitable for designing geosynthetic reinforced steep slopes.

ScanSlope©: Developed in 1993 for the European market. This DOS program is a derivative of program StrataSlope.

StrataSlope©: Developed in 1992 for CONWED (Minneapolis, Minnesota) and now is licensed to Strata Systems. This popular DOS software is used to design geogrid reinforced steep slopes.
